Cable description CABLE SOCKS AND SPRINGS

Springs and cable socks are devices designed to provide a firm and secure grip on the cable, evenly distributing the tensile force to prevent damage and tearing on the cable and facilitate the installation process.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICS

Springs and cable socks are devices designed to provide a firm and secure grip on the cable, evenly distributing the tensile force to prevent damage and tearing on the cable and facilitate the installation process. They are often used with vertical cable installation (UTVFLEX-SPR, UTVFLEX-VS, UTVFLEX-VCR, Panzerlite, Panzerflex-L VS). The cable socks can be single or double redance, open or closed or produced with specific characteristics requested by the customer (e.g. special diameters or lengths). The standard version is produced in galvanised steel but can also be produced in 316 Stainless Steel. The braided mesh structure allows the sock to fit and tighten around the cable when tension is applied, ensuring a firm and even grip. The sock also has an eyelet, or loop, which allows the cable puller to be connected to other traction or lifting equipment. Springs, on the other hand, are components designed to protect and support electrical cables, reducing the impact of vibration and mechanical stress during installation. They can have different capacities depending on the required pull. Their spiral shape allows them to compress and stretch to absorb mechanical forces, protecting cables from damage and reducing the risk of breakage.
